Biography

2016: Throughout the indoor season he competed in nine meets for the Pioneers … Had four first place finishes at competitions during the season … At the Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships he ran his best Mile time of the season with a time of 4:23.67 which was good for fifth place (2/13/16) … Ran his best 3000M time of 9:11.30 at the Utica College Jen & Todd Hutton Invitational (12/12/15) … He ran a time of 16:24.91 in his best 5000M of the season which was good for first place at the Continental Indoor Track & Field Invitational (1/23/16).
 
Competed at eight meets for the team over the course of the outdoor season … Had five first place finishes and only one finish outside of the top five all season … His best 400M Hurdles time of 56.01 came during the NYSCTC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (5/6/16) … In the 3000M Steeple event the best time of the season he ran was 9:26.34 which was recorded at the NYSCTC Outdoor Track & Field Invitational (5/6/16).

Personal: Wright is a 2015 graduate of West Canada Valley and the son of Shawna Jones and Wesley Wright ... He is currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry.
