Ryan Kelly entered her first year as an assistant coach for the Utica College cross country and track and field teams in the summer of 2012. She will be responsible for overseeing the men’s and women’s long and middle distance runners as well as assisting Head Coach Jason Rose with all facets of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field teams.

Kelly is a 2011 graduate of SUNY Cobleskill where she earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Animal Science and an Associates in Equine Science. Kelly was part of the NEAC Conference Championship team in cross country in the 2010-2011 and 2009-2010 seasons, earning NEAC 1st Team All-Conference both years. While at Cobleskill, Kelly also was named MVP for the 2008-2009 track season and 2010-2011 cross country season. In 2010 and 2011 Kelly was named Chancellor Scholar Athlete.

Currently residing in Verona, NY, Kelly is a 2007 graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School in where she competed in cross country and track and field. She is a two-time state qualifier in track, placing 2nd in the 400m in 2006 and 2nd in the 400m hurdles in 2007. Kelly also qualified for the 2006 Cross Country State Championship and set 17 school records, of which she currently holds 13.
