William Razzano was hired in the Fall of 2016 as an assistant jumps coach for the track and field program. He will also assist with day-to-day operations and recruiting.
Razzano comes to Utica after spending three years substitute teaching and coaching track in the Riverhead Central School District on Long Island. While at Riverhead, Razzano coached multiple athletes to All-County, All-State, and National honors.
Razzano earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland in 2012 and was a four-year member of the Red Dragon track & field team, competing as a long and triple jumper. He was a two-time SUNYAC Champion in the triple jump, competed at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, and was named the Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Originally from Riverhead, NY, Razzano, is a USATF Level 1 certified coach. He currently resides in Utica and is pursuing his master’s degree in Liberal Studies from UC.
