Utica University Athletics

Courtney Kennedy was hired in the summer of 2021 as an athletic assistant for the Utica College swimming and diving program. Kennedy will assist aquatics director and head coach Erin Knight with all aspects of the program including recruiting, practice and meet preparation, along with day-to-day operations in the office.
 
Kennedy attended Utica College and was a member of both the water polo and swimming teams. As a goalie with the water polo program, Kennedy finished with 132 career saves in three seasons while also adding three goals, assists and steals to her overall stat line. She also competed in the breaststroke in her two seasons with the swim and dive program. 
 
She graduated in the spring of 2020 from Utica College with a degree in Cybersecurity. Originally from Smithtown, N.Y., Kennedy attended Our Lady of Mercy prior to UC. 
 
She currently resides in Utica and will be pursuing her master’s degree at UC.
