Peter Ollis was hired in the summer of 2012 as the assistant coach for the Utica College water polo team. He will assist with all facets of the program including recruiting, scouting, managing practices and game preparation.
Ollis recently graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA where he doubled as the head coach of the men’s and women’s water polo teams. He planned and organized workout schedules while scheduling and leading all practices. He also organized the league schedule and coached athletes of all levels ranging from beginner to experienced. He graduated with two degrees in Sociology and Psychology while concentrating in crime and deviance.
In the pool, Ollis was captain and president of the men’s team from 2010-2012. He was CWPA All-Conference in each of his four seasons including a 2011 CWPA All-American honoree as well as an Academic All-American and a member of the Virginia State Team in 2010 and 2011.
Originally from Bethesda, MD, Ollis currently resides in Utica, NY.
