Coach Lizardi joins the Utica University football coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season following a notable career with the team. Lizardi, a graduate of West Babylon High School, first suited up for the Pioneers in 2022, his sophomore season. He remained a key piece of the offensive line unit the following three years, starting all 27 games in that time frame. Lizardi earned recognition for his on-field success last season, being named to the E8 All-Conference Second Team, in addition to being named the Utica Football "'Big John' Offensive Lineman of the Year." Following his success on the offensive side of the trenches, he will look to translate his knowledge into his new Defensive Line Coach position.
