Utica, NY (12/3/12)- Junior Megan Myers of the Utica College women’s ice hockey team was named the College’s Co-Female Athlete of the Week, Monday.

Myers had two goals in the Pioneers’ 3-0 victory over Williams on Friday.  She leads the team with five goals and eight points.  She has tallied at least one point in six of UC’s seven games on the season and has two multi-goal games. 

The Pioneers are 4-3 overall (3-3 ECAC West) and have won their last three games.  They return to action this weekend for two non-conference games.  On Saturday, they host cross-town rival, Hamilton College, before taking on Amherst College on Sunday.  Saturday’s contest will be at 4 p.m. while Sunday’s puck drop will be at 3 p.m.
