Jessica Marciano has been named a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of 3/2/26
Marciano and the Pioneers traveled to face Plattsburgh State in the squad’s second game of the season, looking to bounce back from a loss in their home opener. The senior attacker led the orange and blue, scoring three of the team’s goals in a 10-4 victory over the Cardinals, and assisting on one other. She did so on just four shot attempts, all of which were on target. In addition to being just her second career hat trick, she also added three ground balls and draw controls, being one of just three Pioneers with more than two ground balls, and one of two with multiple draw controls.
Marciano and the women's lacrosse team will be back in action this weekend, heading to Buffalo State this Saturday for a 1:00 PM matinee against the Bengals.Â
