Senior Kevin McAllister (Boxford, MA/Masconomet Regional) of the Utica College men’s soccer team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week on Monday.

McAllister had two goals for the Pioneers as they finished the week with a 1-1 record. McAllister tied up Wednesday’s double overtime loss to the Hobart Statesmen with a 79th minute goal, before scoring the only goal of the game Saturday as UC picked up the win in its Empire 8 opener against Nazareth, 1-0. After not scoring in the first four games of the season, McAllister has scored in three straight games for UC.

The Pioneers return to the pitch Tuesday evening as they host Plattsburgh State at 7 p.m.
