Kara O'Driscoll, from the women's golf team, was selected as the Utica College Female Athlete of the Week on Monday.
After round one of the Empire 8 Championships last weekend, she turned in the best performance on the team, with a score of 98 strokes. Her card was enough to earn her a tie for 20th place individually, in a field of 62 golfers.
O'Driscoll moved up to 17th in the standings after the second round, shedding eight strokes off of her first round total. Her card of 90 on the second day gave her a two-round total of 188.
The Pioneers have wrapped up their fall season over the weekend and will return to the golf course in the spring.
