Utica, NY -- Senior goalie Andrew DiOrio of the Utica College men’s lacrosse team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after his performances against Hamilton and SUNY Potsdam last week.

So far this season DiOrio has 32 saves, a goals against average of 7.81, and a save percentage of .552. In his last outing against SUNY Potsdam he posted 11 saves and only allowed four goals. In his last two games he has registered 21 saves. DiOrio has also moved into fourth all-time in school-history with 246 career saves.

The Pioneers (2-2) are back on the field Thursday March, 19 as they travel to face Morrisville State College at 1 p.m.
