Hunter Logan has been named a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of May 5th, 2025.

Logan completed a career sweep in the shot put this past weekend after taking home the crown at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships with a 15.79m throw. Logan is now a four-time Empire 8 Outdoor Champion in the event, and secured his eighth straight Empire 8 shot put title between both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Logan currently sits at 22nd in the nation in the event. The Fort Plain, New York native has ascended to an entirely new level in the Utica Track & Field history books, now being the most decorated individual athlete in the history of the program.
