UTICA, NY- Senior catcher Thomas Dinnen of the Utica College baseball team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after his top notch performance in UC’s three game sweep at Elmira over the weekend.

            Dinnen went 6-for-12 at the plate with four RBI’s and one run scored over the course of the three-game set at Elmira. He hit two doubles and now has 17 doubles over the course of his collegiate career. He also started all three games behind the plate, helping the pitching staff to allow only four runs in all 25 innings against Elmira.

            The baseball team is back in action on Thursday, April 9^th against Cazenovia College. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
