UTICA, NY- Utica College sophomore swimmer, Phoebe King, was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week, Monday, for her performance in last weekend’s meets against Bard College and Wells College.
 
King placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.82. She also placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:08.36, and came in first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.33. King’s performance helped Utica to 141-62 win over Wells College, and a 158-73 win over Bard College.
 
The Pioneers will be back in action on Friday, when they travel to Cazenovia, NY to take on Cazenovia College. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
