UTICA, NY- Utica College men’s basketball player, Rob Tutein has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for his performance in a game against Cortland State on Saturday.
 
Tutein finished the game with 24 points, shooting 9-for-16 from the field and 5-for-10 from three-point range. Tutein also had six rebounds and one assist in the 87-85 loss to the Red Dragons.
 
With the 24-point effort, Tutein is now third in the Empire 8 Conference in scoring through the first game this season.
 
The Pioneers will stay at home for their next game, as they take on Morrisville State on Tuesday. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
