UTICA, NY – Junior Nicodemus Gambill of the Utica College men’s track and field team was named the College’s Male athlete of the week for his performance on Saturday.

Gambill earned the Male Athlete of the meet honors after winning and breaking records in both the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Gambill now holds the College’s top mark in the 60-meter dash (6.91) and the 200-meter dash (22.22). His time in the 60-meter dash is good enough for seventh in the country and his 200-meter time is good enough for sixth nationally.

The Pioneers return to action on Saturday as they host the Pioneer Invitational at the Todd and Jen Hutton Sports & Recreation Center. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
