Utica, NY -- Mikayla Blumenstock of the Utica College women’s soccer team has earned this week’s UC Female Athlete of the Week for her strong production over the last couple games.

In the team’s 2-1 overtime win against Cazenovia, Blumenstock netted the game-winning score in extra time to secure the victory.

Over the weekend, UC traveled to face Houghton for some E8 action. During that match Mikayla recorded her first hat trick as a Pioneer, scoring all three of the team’s goals to take down the Highlanders, 3-2.

Utica will be riding a three-match winning streak heading into Wednesday’s conference matchup with Sage. The Pioneers will be at home to battle the Gators, with the game beginning at 4 p.m.
