Utica University Athletics

Utica, NY – Ka’Sean Watlington of the Utica College men’s track and field team has been selected as one of the UC Co-Male Athletes of the Week for his record breaking performance at the Pioneer Open over the weekend.
 
Watlington placed first in the triple jump event, breaking the school’s indoor triple jump record with a jump of 14.51 meters. This mark also bumped Ka’Sean’s ranking up to third in the country on the NCAA DIII Indoor National Qualifiers List for the triple jump. He is currently on his way to making another NCAA DIII Championship appearance.
 
The Pioneers are back at their home track this weekend to host the Blue and Orange Invitational and Multi. Competition is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and continue through Sunday.
