Utica, NY - Freshman forward Justice Brantley of the Utica College men's basketball team has been named UC Male Athlete of the Week for his stellar performance in the team's regular season finale against Sage.

Brantley made the most of his first-career start in this contest, as he netted a team-high 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field. This topped Brantley's career-high of 12 points against Elmira on Jan. 10 earlier this season.

The Utica College men's basketball team returns to action for the opening round of the Empire 8 tournament against the third-seeded St. John Fisher at 7:30 p.m Friday night. This conference tournament will be host by the top-seeded Nazareth Golden Flyers.
