Graduate student, Josh Kienz of the Utica College men’s golf team has been named UC Male Athlete of the Week for his stellar performance in the Empire 8 Fall Championship.

As the Pioneers swung their way into a second-place finish in the fall championship, the defending individual medalist scored a consistent 77 on both days. This performance in the wet conditions on Sunday tied him for first at ten over par.

This completes the fall portion for the Pioneers. They will conclude the Empire 8 Championship on April 15 and 16, 2022.
