Alaina Weaver has been named a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of September 16th - 22nd.

Weaver was selected for her outstanding performance this past Saturday at the Empire 8 Championships. Weaver, a Pioneer newcomer participating in her first career meet, tied for 4th overall and shot a +19. This extraordinary outing led her to capture the Empire 8 Rookie of the Meet Award for the Invitational, an incredible achievement for the young golfer from nearby Saquoit in her first ever career meet.
