Angela Hawthorne has been selected as a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of December 2nd. 

Hawthorne cemented her status as one of Division III’s premier netminders in the Sunshine Turkey Classic this past weekend, logging two heroic performances against a pair of ranked opponents. The graduate goalkeeper possessed an absurd stat line during the tournament action, recording 71 saves in just under 120 minutes of action while attaining a 94.7% save percentage. Hawthorne made a flurry of fantastic stops, keeping the Pioneers tournament hopes alive by notching a win against #13 Norwich and stalling #5 Adrian until the final stages of the championship game.
