Allison Jones joins the women’s tennis program as a volunteer assistant for the 2016 season.
Jones is a 2016 graduate of Le Moyne College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received both Dean’s List and NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll Awards throughout her time at Le Moyne. She was a Resident Assistant for two years as well as being active in Campus Ministry, the Psychology Club and the Outing Club while at Le Moyne.
Jones was a scholarship player and a four-year starter on the Division II Le Moyne women’s tennis team. As a 2015-2016 Co-Captain she helped lead the team to its first appearance in the NE-10 Tournament since 2009. During the season she won a career best 19 matches. She won four matches at the 2015 Division II ITA’s. She was the 2013-2014 Team MVP and finished third on the Most Singles Wins Career list and fourth on the Most Doubles Wins Career list.
Jones graduated from Notre Dame Jr./Sr. High School where she helped lead the Lady Jugglers tennis team to their first sectional title in school history. She also won three straight sectional doubles titles and set the school record with 120 wins during her varsity career.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Utica College.
