Greenman Softball Field
Located across Burrstone Road from Utica University’s main campus, adjacent to White Hall, Greenman Softball Field is home to the Pioneers’ softball program. The fully enclosed facility features lighting for night games, two batting cages along the right field line and a sports information booth for game management. An adjacent practice field provides additional space for team preparation and accommodates visiting teams during tournaments.
The facility has undergone several improvements, including the installation of a scoreboard in spring 2013 and renovation of the infield surface in 2015. In 2016, upgrades added 40-foot-wide dugouts with six-foot protective fencing and a six-foot-high portable chain-link outfield fence.
Greenman hosted the 2013 Empire 8 Softball Championship, bringing conference postseason competition to Utica. The complex’s combination of competition and practice spaces supports both the Pioneers’ daily training needs and tournament operations.
