ROCHESTER, NY –  Michael Roberts (Remsen, NY/Remsen) of the Utica University men's cross country team was named to the Empire 8 All-Conference team, as announced by the Empire 8 on Wednesday. 
 
Roberts continues a strong start to his career after winning Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year last season. The sophomore placed first in the SUNY Poly Invitational on September 24 recording a time of 28:04. Roberts then placed 13th in the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships on October 29 earning him Empire 8 All-Conference second team honors.
