BIRMINGHAM, AL - Zuriel Wright (Parlin, NJ/Sayreville War Memorial) of the Utica University track and field program competed at Day Two of the NCAA Division III Track & Field Indoor Championships.
 
Wright finished 18th bowing out at 2.03m in the men's high jump championship. The senior cleared his first two heights before bowing out at the third height. This marks the end of an incredible indoor season from Wright who set a high jump school record this season and tied for sixth place last weekend at the AARTFC Championships bowing out at 1.95m. His performance earned the team 2.5 points and qualified for Nationals. Wright ranks eighth nationally, and his school record high jump mark of 2.05m at the Utica Holiday Classic on December 10, 2022 remains the second best in the region.
 
The teams will travel to Middletown, CT on Saturday, March 25th to open their outdoor season with the Swanson Spring Classic hosted by Wesleyan University with the time to be determined.
