UTICA, NY - The Utica University women's wrestling team opens its 2024 season at East Stroudsburg University at the Koehler Fieldhouse on Saturday, January 6, beginning at 10 a.m. 
 
Last Time Out: The Utica University women's wrestling team wrapped up its day at the New Jersey City University Quad-Meet on Friday evening. Gillian Mills (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) (143lb) won her first match at the New Jersey City University Quad-Meet by pinfall in 1:29 against Claire Daity of NJCU. Her final match came against Kathryn Berger of Alvernia University, defeating her by pinfall in 0:14.

Marvelous Mills: Gillian Mills (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) (143lb) is Utica's lone wrestler competing in the East Stroudsburg Warrior Open. Mills looks to lead Utica and open the new year off to a hot start.
 
Opponent Outlook: Six schools will be competing at the event. East Stroudsburg, Cedar Crest College, Frostburg State University, Hiram College and Southern Virginia University. 
 
Koehler Fieldhouse: Koehler Fieldhouse is the home to East Stroudsburg's wrestling team.
