ROCHESTER, NY - Makayla Purdy (Shirley, NY/William Floyd) earns Empire 8 Women's Goalie of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the league on Monday.
 
Purdy made 13 saves against SUNY Oneonta en route to a 13-5 victory on March 21. She made eight saves in the first half, holding Oneonta to two goals while grabbing two ground balls. 
 
Purdy and Utica host SUNY Morrisville on Monday, March 25 at 4 p.m. This game was originally scheduled for March 20 but got postponed due to weather.
