UTICA, NY - The Utica University women's tennis team dropped both of its matches this weekend, falling to Hartwick College by a score of 9-0 on Friday, before falling to SUNY Geneseo by a score of 9-0 on Saturday.

In singles play, Paetra Heeren (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley), Callie Ott (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy), Lyndsey Tiedemann (Salt Point, NY/Franklin D Roosevelt), and Victoria Elefante (Clinton, NY/Clinton) each recorded a game win in their sets. In doubles, the duo of Tiedemann and Heeren won a game of their set.

In singles play, Jackie Roberts (Herkimer, NY/Notre Dame) and Victoria Elefante (Clinton, NY/Clinton) put up a game win in their sets. Lyndsey Tiedemann (Salt Point, NY/Franklin D Roosevelt) put up a good fight, winning two games of her first set and three games of the second set. In doubles play, the duo of Elefante and Tiedemann won two games of their set, and the duo of Callie Ott (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) and Paetra Heeren (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) won one game of their set. 
 
Utica, (0-7, 0-5) takes on Cortland at home Tuesday, October 1. Start time from the Utica Tennis Courts is set for 4pm.
