Hunter Logan Heads to NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday

UTICA, NY - Hunter Logan (Fort Plain, NY/Herkimer College) will compete in shot put at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. Nazareth University is hosting at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, NY.

Throwin' It Back: In 2022, Logan recorded a 16.24m throw at the NCAA DIII Championships in Winston-Salem, NC while also becoming the program's second men's indoor shot put All-American.
 
How He Got Here: Logan earned his spot at NCAA's after a 16.83m throw at the AARTFC regionals hosted by Ithaca on March 7 and 8. He placed second behind No. 8 ranked Andrew Mott of York College (PA) who threw a 17.17m. Another notable competitor Logan placed in front of was No. 3 ranked Isaiah Brunache of Cortland State who scored a 16.69m throw and took third place.

Looking Ahead: Utica will open its outdoor season on Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. with the Utica Almost Spring Invitational at Laura M. Casamento Field.
