Claire Draper (Watertown, NY/Watertown) and Felix-Assa Loselose (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) have been named the Pioneer Athletes of the Week for the week of October 5, 2026.

Draper and the Pioneers are still in the midst of an active stretch, currently in progress in their third event of the week. Utica began at the SUNY Poly Invitational, where Draper led Utica with a +11 finish on the par-72, 5,550-yard Teugega Country Club course. The 83 was Draper's lowest collegiate round, which placed her 6th out of 14 players. She followed that performance by leading all golfers at a Utica-SUNY Delhi dual match, carding an 89 on Yahnundasis Golf Club's 5,363-yard, par-73 layout. The Pioneers are currently competing in the Nazareth Women's Fall Invitational, where Draper is sitting in a tie for 8th after her +18 round one on Ravenwood Golf Club's par-72, 5,635-yard setup.

Draper and the Pioneers will continue to compete in the Nazareth Women's Fall Invitational on Monday.

Loselose and the Pioneers completed a two-win week, defeating Keuka College and Houghton University. The senior forward was pivotal for the Pioneers, netting three of the team's four goals in the week and both game-winners. He scored the lone goal in a 1-0 road win over the Wolves before scoring the second and third goals within a 4:16 span in a 3-2 Senior Night win over the Highlanders. The scoring burst jumps Loselose to the top of Utica's scoring list, as he currently stands as the only Pioneer with multiple goals.

Loselose and the Pioneers will face St. John Fisher University at home on Wednesday.
