2015: Ran in three competitions during the year … She recorded her best 5K time of the season during the race at the Saratoga Invitational where she finished at 25:17.1 (9/12/15) … She also ran one 6K race at the 2015 NYSCTC XC Championship where her time was 30:23.8 (10/24/15).

2014: Scalzo opened her freshmen campaign at the SUNYIT Short Course Invitational (8/30/14) placing 93^rd with a time of 27:04… Ran a season best time of 23:09.1 at the Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational (10/11/14) coming in 138^th place… At the NYSCTC Championships (10/25/14) Scalzo finished in 102^nd place with a time of 29:40.5… Placed 74^th with a time of 23:18.7 at the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships (11/1/14)… Finished the year in 259^th place with a time of 28:28.55 at the ECAC Division III Cross Country Championships (11/8/14).

Personal: Katrina is a 2014 graduate of Sauquoit Valley High School and is the daughter of Patricia and John Scalzo … She is currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security Forensics.
