Biography

2016: Throughout the course of the indoor season he competed in seven meets for the Pioneers … As a freshman he made his debut at the Utica College Jen & Todd Hutton Invitational running the 5000M (12/12/15) … He recorded his best 5000M time of 16:27.84 at the Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/13/16) … He also ran his best 3000M time at the Utica College Doris Miga Invitational with a  time of 9:25.76 (2/6/16).
 
During the outdoor season he participated in seven different meets along the way … He ran a variety of events in the spring including the 3000 Steeple, 800M, 1500M, 5000M and 10,000M … At the NYSCTC Outdoor Track & Field Championships he recorded his best time in the 3000S with a time of 9:55.71 (5/6/16) … He ran the 800M with a time of 2:10.44 at the Hamilton Mid-Week meet (4/19/16).

Personal: Block is a 2015 graduate of Sachem North High School and the son of Jeanne and David Block ... He is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science.
