2015: Participated in six meets during the season … At the Harry Lang Invitational her time in the 4.8K race was 20:05.4 (9/5/15) … She finished with a time of 19:14.9 in the 5K race at the Saratoga Invitational (9/12/15) … Her best 5K time of the season came at the Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational as she finished at 19:01.7 (10/10/15) … Was chosen as Utica College’s representative for the Empire 8’s Sportswomen of the Year Team.

2014: Cooley opened her first year of collegiate racing at the SUNYIT Short Course Invitational (8/30/14) where she came in 2nd place with a time of 20:40… She placed 3rd at the Steven Warde Invitational (9/6/14) with a time of 19:47.2… Finished her freshmen year at the Yellow Jackets Invitational (9/20/14) where she placed 72nd with a time of 25:05.9.

Personal: Makenna is a 2014 graduate from Remsen High School and is the daughter of Wendy and Brian Cooley … She is currently pursuing a degree in Economics.
