Nick Evanoff

Nick Evanoff is entering his fifth season as assistant coach for the men’s lacrosse team after he spent one season as the assistant of the UC women's lacrosse program.

In his first season as an assistant for the men's squad he helped guide the Pioneers to an 8-7 overall record - good for a share of the school record for most wins in a single season.

Evanoff, who is currently enrolled in graduate classes at Utica, helped guide the UC women's lacrosse to a 9-8 overall record and a program-best 4-4 record in conference play. UC closed out the 2008 season with a 21-12 loss to top-seeded Brockport State in the semi-finals of the ECAC Upstate Championships.

Nick graduated in 2007 from Utica College with a degree in Criminal Justice. He played four years on the men’s lacrosse team as a defenseman and in his final year, 2007, he was named a tri-captain for the Pioneers. Nick’s final stats included 14 points on nine goals and five assists along with 96 ground balls in 41 games played. In 2008 he was named the Empire 8 Sportsmanship Award winner for Utica College.

Originally from Cicero, NY, Nick graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse in 2003 and he was a member of the lacrosse and golf teams. He currently resides in New Hartford, NY.
