Utica University Athletics

Rinae Olsen is entering her fourth season as an assistant coach for the Utica College softball team. Olsen assists Head Coach Pat Mineo with all facets of the softball program.

In four years as a member of the Utica College softball team (2006-2009), Olsen started in 144 games and closed out her career tied atop the College’s all-time games played list with 146. She ranks fourth all-time with 119 career hits, third all-time with 71 RBIs and third all-time with 161 total bases.

As a senior captain for the Pioneers, Olsen capped off her four year career with a stellar season which included a career best 39 total hits. In April of 09’, Olsen was named Utica College Female Athlete of the Week. She batted .319 in 38 games and tacked on 20 RBIs to go along with eight runs scored, while being named to the 2009 Empire 8 All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Olsen graduated from Utica College in May of 2009 with a degree in public relations. Originally from Schenectady, NY, Rinae currently resides in Utica.
