Jennifer Willis

Jennifer Willis enters her third season as the graduate assistant coach of the women’s lacrosse team.  Willis played four years (2003-2007) and graduated from Cortland State in May of '07 with a degree in Secondary English and a minor in education.  She carried a 3.1 grade point average as a student-athlete at Cortland.

Willis is responsible for assisting St. Hilaire with player personnel, recruiting, scouting and assisting with day-to-day operation, in the office.

Her previous coaching experience includes four years of coaching lacrosse camps around New York State including SUNY Cortland Lacrosse Camp, Wildcat Lacrosse Camp, St. Anthony’s Lacrosse Camp, and Just For Girls Lacrosse Camp.

Willis, who was named first team All-American in 2006, also earned SUNYAC & ECAC Division III Upstate Player of the Year as a junior.  She graduated as Cortland’s all-time leader in assists.

Willis was named SUNYAC Player of the week three times and was awarded SUNYAC Co-First Year Player of the Year. Willis also won second team All-American, first team All-Region, All-State, and All-SUNYAC honors. She also was a member of S.A.A.C. where she represented women’s varsity lacrosse in 2005.

She is a 2003 graduate of Walt Whitman High School. Originally from Huntington Station, NY, Jennifer currently resides in Utica.
