Bobby Kane, from Glens Falls, New York, was hired in August of 2025 as an assistant coach with the men's soccer team, specifically as a goalkeepers coach. Coach Kane has worked as a coach with numerous soccer organizations over the last 13 years, including 10 years in women's collegiate soccer.

Kane graduated from Glens Falls High School in 2006 before beginning his undergraduate studies at SUNY Potsdam. In 2011, Kane graduated from Potsdam with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After beginning roles in coaching soccer in 2012, Kane later chose to pursue graduate education, receiving a Master's degree in Recreation and Sports Science, with a concentration in Soccer Coaching, from Ohio University in 2016. Coach Kane has earned several certifications, including a US Soccer Federation Level C License, a TOVO Methodology Diploma, and a Level 3 Goalkeeping Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches.

Coach Kane first gained experience in youth soccer with two roles that he held from 2012 to 2015. Kane served as the Director of Soccer for Ultimate Goal, as well as the Director of Coaching for Arsenal Academy FC. During the same span, Kane gained experience with high school sports, coaching with Jordan-Elbridge's girl's varsity team from 2012-14, and with West Genesee's J.V. boy's team in 2014-15. Coach then began his journey as an assistant women's coach at the collegiate level, taking the role for the first time with SUNY Potsdam in 2015. In 2017, Kane joined Alleghany College's program before moving to Hamilton College the following year, a role he held until last year.Â
