Jordan Lambert

Jordan Lambert was hired as the Director of Sports Information at Utica University in August of 2024, directly prior to the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, becoming the youngest Director of Sports Information in the Empire 8 Conference at just 22 years old. Lambert has been a member of College Sports Communicators (CSC) and Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST COMM) since September of 2025.

As a member of the Pioneer Athletics Department, Lambert oversees all operations regarding athletics communications for the 24 athletics programs at Utica. His responsibilities include statistical tracking, website management, social media management, media relations, organization and maintenance of all athletic information, and various other tasks that assist with maintaining the image of Utica Athletics.

Lambert came to Utica by way of Wells College, where he served as the final Director of Athletics Communication in the 157-year history of the school.

Lambert joined the athletics staff at Wells College during March 2024, immediately assuming the role of Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Information. He served in that role up until the official closing of the college in June of 2024.

As Director of Sports Information at Wells College, Lambert oversaw all operations related to athletic communications. These duties included tracking statistics for all Express programs, running media platforms/engaging in media relations, and the organization and maintenance of all athletic information for the 16 athletics teams at Wells College.

Prior to his time at Wells, Lambert held a variety of positions at different schools within all levels of athletic competition.

Directly before accepting the role of head SID, Lambert worked for Geneseo Central School in Geneseo, NY as a long-term substitute teacher during the first half of the 2023-2024 school year. He taught various classes related to business and sports while also leading operations during all home athletic events. Lambert, a 2019 graduate of Geneseo CSD, also coached the Geneseo JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams as an assistant coach during the 2023-2024 season.

Just before returning to Geneseo, Lambert completed his senior internship as an Event Management and Operations Assistant at Cornell University during the 2022-2023 athletic year. While working for the Big Red, Lambert was a major part of the organization of many high-profile home athletic events, including the 2023 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Tournament, 2023 Ivy League Fencing Championships, and 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament.

While completing his senior internship, Lambert also completed his degree at SUNY Cortland, earning a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a Concentration in Intercollegiate Athletics and Administration. A 2023 graduate, Lambert worked as an Event Manager for the Red Dragons, overseeing operations for Men's Soccer, Football, and Men's and Women's Basketball. He also earned the 2023 SUNY Cortland Special Achievement in Sport Management Award during his senior year.

During his time at Cortland, he also aided in the hosting of big post-season events such as the 2021 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament, 2021 NCAA Division III Football Tournament, and the 2021 SUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship where the Red Dragons went on to become the 2021 SUNYAC Men's Soccer Champions.

Jordan is the son of Shaun and Marianne Lambert, and is a native of Geneseo, NY.
