Fortugno, a nationally recognized wrestler for Wisconsin-Whitewater, joined Coach Pankil Chander and the Utica men’s wrestling team as the program’s athletic assistant ahead of 2026-27. The Armonk, New York native enjoyed a stellar career for the Warhawks, including becoming a WIAC Champion and an NCAA National Championships Qualifier during the 2025-2026 season. In addition to his athletic success, Fortugno also achieved two Academic All-American honors, showcasing his balance as a strong student-athlete. Fortugno set his sights on Utica’s Master of Business Administration program, where he looked to achieve his master's degree while also growing the Utica men’s wrestling program alongside Coach Chander.
