Utica University Athletics

Kayleigh Sturtevant has been hired as a Sports Information Athletic Assistant beginning in August 2024. Sturtevant will assist the Sports Information Director in all facets of the department, while pursuing her M.B.A. 
 
Sturtevant graduated from Utica University in December 2023 with a B.B.A in Sports Management. During her time at Utica, she served as an intern in the Sports Information department for two years assisting with day-to-day operations as well as photography. She was also involved with the school newspaper her senior year serving as Multimedia Editor, providing photos for both print and online editions. 
 
Sturtevant is a Mohawk Valley native, growing up in Rome, NY. In high school, she was a NYSPHAA Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field State Qualifier in the shot put and weight throw. She was a two-year varsity letter winner in track and field and tennis. She was also recognized as a NYSPHAA Scholar Athlete all four years. Sturtevant also grew up playing basketball and softball. 
 
In her spare time, Sturtevant enjoys watching sports and attending concerts. Her favorite sports teams are the Buffalo Bills, the New York Rangers, and the New York Yankees. Her favorite bands are Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Games We Play.
