Coach Roefaro joined the Utica University baseball program in January of 2026, directly ahead of the 2026 season. He took up the mantle of athletic assistant, with his primary roles being focused on roster management and practice planning. Roefaro, a college pitcher, will assist heavily with that side of the game.Â
Roefaro, a native of Utica, New York, returned to the city following a successful career at the collegiate level for both the Onondaga Community College Lazers (Class of 2022) and, more recently, the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons (Class of 2025). Roefaro started at OCC, where he was a team captain, before moving to the Red Dragons following his graduation from the juco ranks. At SUNY Oneonta, Roefaro was on multiple SUNYAC playoff contenders, compiling an 8-3 record to go along with over 100 strikeouts in his 45 appearances. During previous summers, Roefaro participated in the local collegiate baseball league, the NYCBL, as a member of the Sherrill Silversmiths.Â
Roefaro is a 2019 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Utica.Â
