Utica, NY (2/4/13)- Sophomore Anthony Farber, of the Utica College men’s swim team, was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week Monday for his success in the pool this weekend.

Farber won three events Saturday as the team fell to the visiting St. Lawrence University Saints 112-85 in the final home meet of the season. He tallied 29 team points after taking three first place finishes in the 200 yard medley relay (1:51:24), the 100 yard freestyle (52:42) and the 100 yard breaststroke (1:06:88).

The Pioneers finished the regular season with a 3-7 overall record. They return to action at the end of the month as they head to the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference Championships, hosted by Ithaca College.
