Utica University Athletics

Utica, NY (2-4-13) – Freshman Nikiya Harris, of the Utica College women’s track and field team, was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her impressive performance Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational.

Harris won two individual events while qualifying for ECAC’s and also led the 4x400 meter relay team to a win. She clocked times of 8.07 and 26.82 in the 60 and 200 meter dashes as well as a final time of 4:29.11 in the 4x400.

The Pioneers return to action on Friday when they travel to Rochester Institute of Technology for the Tiger Invitational at Gordon Field House in Rochester, NY.  The meet is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
