Utica, NY (2/18/13) – Junior forward Brittany DelleChiaie of the Utica College women’s hockey team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her performance on the ice this past week.

DelleChiaie scored a goal and dished out an assist in the Pioneers 5-2 victory over SUNY Cortland in their first-ever Gold Ribbon game on February 12. She tallied another goal and assist in the Pioneers first of two wins over host Stevenson this past weekend. On the season, DelleChiaie has four goals and eight assists good enough for 12 points. She has taken 35 shots and has a shooting percentage of .114.

The Pioneers are currently 15-8-2 with a 7-4-1 mark in the ECAC West. They earned a first-round home playoff game on Friday, February 22. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
