Greg Silvestro of the Utica College men's soccer team was named the College's Male Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Silvestro had back-to-back goals, including the game-winner, as UC picked up a 3-0 victory at St. John Fisher on Saturday. The sophomore defender helped the Pioneers make the most of the opportunities given to them by the Cardinals, scoring one goal on a free kick, and another on a corner kick header to lift Utica to a 2-0 halftime lead that it would never surrender. In addition, Silvestro's two goals on Saturday have tied him for the team lead in goals (three) on the season.

The Pioneers return to the pitch Tuesday night as they host Morrisville State in a nonconference match at 7 p.m.
