Utica, NY (2/24/14) - Senior Ridge Garbutt of the Utica College men’s ice hockey team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week Monday for his performance on the ice over the weekend.

The senior forward scored two goals and added an assist to help lift UC to a 5-3 win over Manhattanville on Friday. The goals were his tenth and 11th of the season. He now has 23 points on the season (11 goals, 12 assists), which is good for second on the team.

With the win, Utica clinched the ECAC West Conference Title. On Sunday, Utica will host a semi-final ECAC West playoff game at the Utica Memorial Auditorium. Face-off is set for 4 p.m.
