UTICA, NY (3-31-14) – Junior Christian Reiller of the Utica College men’s lacrosse team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week Monday for his efforts over the weekend.

Reiller recorded five points over the course of two games last week. He tallied an assist in Friday’s game against SUNY Potsdam and led the way for UC with a team-high four points (three goals, one assist) Saturday against Oswego State.
Reiller now leads UC with 23 points this season. His nine assists rank first on the team and he is second on the team with 14 goals scored. Reiller is also one of eight Pioneers with double-digit groundballs so far this season.

The Pioneers are 4-4 overall and have lost the last two games. UC returns to Charles A. Gaetano Stadium on Wednesday to face Empire 8 Conference opponent Nazareth College. The Pioneers are undefeated at home this season.
