Utica, NY (4/14/14)- Senior Evelyn Kurzac of the Utica College water polo team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week Monday after her impressive performance over the weekend at the CWPA Division III All-Tournament.
 
This marks the second straight year that Kurzac has earned first team All-Conference recognition and the fourth straight year she has been named to an All-Conference team. In the history of the league's Division III structure, she is the first player to earn All-Conference recognition four times as she currently rates as the most decorated player in the five-year history of CWPA Division III competition. She totaled 10 goals in her final three games of the championships.
 
Kurzac wraps up her outstanding career as Utica's all-time leader in goals scored with 236 over her four-year career.  She also holds the school record for goals in a season (75), which she set her sophomore season. 
 
The Pioneers wrapped up the season with an overall record of 5-13 including a 3-10 mark in the conference.
