Utica University Athletics

Utica, NY (4/21/14) – Senior Anastasia Bowden of the Utica College women’s track & field team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week Monday for her performance at the Last Chance Meet hosted by the University of Albany this past weekend.
 
At the meet, Bowden placed third with a final time of 57.78 in the 400 meter dash, which was a qualifying time for ECAC post-season competition. She also competed in the 200 meter dash in which she placed sixth with a time of 26.87.
 
UC returns to action Thursday for the first day of the ECAC Division III Outdoor Championships.  The two-day event will be hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and held at the Ned Harkness Field & Track. Thursday's events are set to kick off at 10 a.m.
